The Rugby Football League today announced a new three-year sponsorship of the Challenge Cup by leading energy supplier, TXU Energi. The deal is worth £3.7 million and the competition will be officially known as the "TXU Energi Challenge Cup".

THE Rugby Football League has confirmed that Rugby League World magazine has become an official partner to the Great Britain team for next month's one-off Test encounter with Australia.

Great Britain head coach David Waite brings St Helens hooker Keiron Cunningham, pictured left, into the 19-man Great Britain squad for the one-off Test match against World Champions Australia in Sydney on Friday, July 12.

The three Test matches against the touring New Zealand team will be staged on Saturday nights in November while the Kiwis will play four matches in the lead up to the three-match showdown with David Waite's Great Britain team.

Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium has been selected by the Rugby Football League to be the host stadium for the 2003 Challenge Cup Final.
